Infosys announces major investment in partnership with IDA Ireland
In September 2016, Mallinckrodt plc, a leading specialty pharmaceutical company, officially opened its new offices in College Business and Technology Park in Blanchardstown, Dublin, and announced creation of a new €10 million state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) facility at the location. The R&D facility will house global device engineering for the company and bring 40 more new jobs to the site, bringing the overall total of new positions there to 120 by 2017.

MSD has concluded the acquisition of the Dunboyne manufacturing facility of Takeda Dunboyne Biologics Limited, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (TSE:4502/NYSE:TAK) (”Takeda”), it was announced today. The state-of-the-art, flexible manufacturing facility, which will now be known as MSD Dunboyne Biologics, has been acquired as a going concern and the 200 employees associated with the site have concluded the consultation process and will now join MSD Ireland’s existing 2,500 strong workforce. Bank of Ireland today has announced that they will open a second FDI Hub for international companies looking to locate to Ireland. The FDI Hub, based in the Bank’s building on College Green, will complement the existing space on Stephen’s Green.
